Alpi Marittime nature park
Located in the Maritime Alps, it borders the French Mercantour National Park, with which it has been twinned since 1987. The park extends for around 28,000 ha, at an altitude ranging from 870 to 3,297 m above sea level.

Alta Valle Pesio-Tanaro nature park
The physical setting. The "Alta Valle Pesio e Tanaro" park rises from the heart of the Ligurian Alps (running from Colle di Tenda to Colle di Cadibona) and which, together with the Maritime Alps (running from Colle di Tenda to Colle della Maddalena in the Stura valley), represent the last buttress of the western Italian Alps.

Crava-Morozzo nature oasis
Nel 1842 Goffredo Casalis, in his book "Dizionario geografico storico statistico e commerciale degli Stati di S.M il Re di Sardegna" ("A geographic historical, statistical and commercial dictionary of the States of His Majesty the King of Sardinia") , wrote the following about Rocca dè Baldi and its surroundings: "In the River Pesio otters are to be found in abundance".

Nature reserve of the Ciciu del Villar
Located at Villar San Costanzo in the Maira valley, it occupies an area of 64 ha, at an altitude ranging from 640 to 1,000 m. It shows a strange but interesting erosion phenomenon known locally by the improper word “Ciciu”.

The caves at Bossea are of high aesthetic and natural importance thanks to the abundance and energy of its subterranean waters: it is a real living cave, crossed by rushing waters, and in which the processes of formation and shaping are still alive.
